With more than twenty years of experience working in law offices, there aren’t too many types of cases that Melissa hasn’t been involved in. Currently she spends most of her time in family law, doing such things as preparing documents to be filed with the court, hunting down records and other evidence to be used at trial, and facilitating client meetings. In the past she has assisted lawyers in such areas as criminal defense, estate planning, and probate. She also helps handle intakes for new clients, determining if they have the type of case we handle and making sure that they are scheduled for a free consultation with an attorney as soon as possible.
Before settling on a career in the legal field, Melissa worked as a dental assistant and obtained certifications for emergency medical response, cosmetology, and web design. She is a proud member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society.
Born at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs Melissa spent much of her youth living on military bases both in the United States and in Germany. She moved to New Hampshire in 1982 and graduated from Portsmouth Regional High School in 1987. When not at work Melissa enjoys a wide array of hobbies including camping, fishing, gardening, cooking, knitting, and watching movies. She lives in Newmarket with her husband Ken her teenaged daughter and their dog Boomer.
